It's a tricky one Bart. I love AM but there's no doubt it confuses the socks of most people which is why you need solid systems in place to have any chance of them duplicating. Thanks for sharing your thoughts

Hi Rachel,

Interesting article. I also know the thoughts about Randy and Eric and even though they "despise" Attraction Marketing I think they themselves actually do it big time.

Randy sells his tools also as Eric does also with his NMPro courses. In fact Dexter Yaeger does $20,000,000 in tool sales (system sales) versus $12,000,000 in passive income in his primary business Amway. I read Mike Dillard's book MS and it changed so much for me in that I actually have mastered it to a T when networking in Belgium. I train downlines and opportunity seekers in marketing seminars and create courses and because of that I sponsor people because they eventually want to know more about my opportunity themselves because of this. They see my expertise and if for some reason they are not happy in their team they want to work with me. Yes, for me attraction marketing works.

Do Eric and Randy want to keep AttractionMarketing a secret?? I don't know but fact remains they are doing it also. So to be against it and ridicule it as you say, gets me a bit of a sour taste (don't want to be negative here, just mentioning my thoughts). I have learned so much from Randy and Eric as I have learned from Mike Dillard and Mark Hoverson. Attraction Marketing is more then a concept, it's a total marketing funnel that gives you immediate income while building the residual dream. And the even better news is that you only attract entrepreneurs who go through a funnel process before they apply to join your team. In the past months I have never pitched anyone for my business and yet I have sponsored a 4 figure earner in my business, I can testify Attraction Marketing is no different online then offline. In fact the system can be used really good offline too.

When you google Randy you can find his infomarketing courses and a lot more too ;-)
IMHO Randy is not ridiculing Attraction Marketing per sé but he is ridiculing the people who don't understand it. So many "wannabe" gurus preach about AM while they do not get it's core concepts and cashflow ability. The lose time with blogging, video creation instead of focussing on lead generation and connecting to create a sign up process. Attraction marketing used to create leads so you can get them into a qualification process is the core of the system. Not creating 1000's of videos or articles if you don't know how to SEO them for increased traffic to your landingpages then you are definitely missing the point of lead generation. You see I don't have a blog and my only reason I create articles in my online lead generation process is to create value and traffic to my sites (my landing pages). You need landing pages and follow up to get your leads into a buyer funnel. it's the core of any business! Not blogging and giving value for free. May sound hard but that's the main point. Mike Dillard has a blog but there is hardly any action on it. Randy posts too but his assistants will help him with it. All big leaders didn't start with a blog for attraction marketing, look up JB and others, they got squeeze pages for lead generation. But that's of course a different issue here. Anyway, So many people have absolutely no idea about Attraction Marketing and it also took me 3 years to get it. It's not about "fake it till you make it" it's more about helping people solving problems so they get more out of life. Eric and Randy are experts in getting the best out of people and point them to solutions. The same as Mike Dillard and Mark Hoverson are doing.

Well it was a big ramble here LOL and not very systemised LOL but I just wanted to share my thoughts on the subject - hope it helped :-)

Kind regards,
Bart

Hi James
Thanks for you feedback. You're right - it is easy to be sidetracked which is why I often talk about this at the blog - to remind people that they are in this to build their MLM and the affiliates are just tools and cashflow.

Hi Rachel. I enjoyed your article. My experience with "Attraction Marketing" led to getting sidestepped from my MLM business to a whole string of affiliate marketing promotions. They say "people don't join companies, people join people." I've joined MLM companies in the past without ever meeting my referrer online or offline.
Also, there's a whole movement of "don't lead with the product." I've specifically joined my Gold & Silver Network Marketing company BECAUSE of the product.
I think it's great we all get to try and experience different marketing methods and go with what works. I just hope some of the attraction marketing devotees can realize that for different people with different needs there are different solutions. For any longevity it IS all about providing a service to others and helping them duplicate. Be blessed!

Hi Adrian Yes I agree. I think some marketers have gone so far the other way though that they never actually get round to building their MLM team!

I agree with John Milton Fogg that Network Marketing is a relationship business. If you have a problem with relationships there is no point in hiding behind a monitor. However online you can meet some great people to build relationships with at a distance. That can't be bad can it? I think that those who pitch their business without first getting to know you are missing the piont.

Hey Bart
Thanks for the feedback. I think the jury's out on the Trump Network. I'd be surprised if Donald really understands how to build MLM in the field but he's super smart so it will be interesting to see what happens. So far I have received a ton of spam about it by get rich quickers. I hope it works out for you. Let me know how you go.
