How I kept deciding while others relied on lady luck.

Have you planted your flag yet and crowned yourself King or Queen of your niche?

Or are you waiting for someone to come along and tell you what to do?

Or worse still holding out for lady luck to make it happen for you.

The problem with waiting around is that your life passes you by.

Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock …

That’s 2011 nearly gone.

If you want something you have to step up and claim it now.

No one is going to decide for you that you will be great at what you do and that people will seek you out to work with you.

You have to DECIDE.

If I had a house for every time I’ve heard a leader say ‘you just have to decide,’ I’d own the town.

You see I did decide years ago but it still didn’t happen for me in the huge way that I wanted.

Many would just give up.

Many did give up and I watched them flake one by one.

But I just kept on deciding.

Sometimes I got very angry that these guys earning millions of dollars were telling me that all I have to do is decide.

I thought, I have decided and done EVERYTHING they told me – what more can I do?

It made me feel physically sick because I wanted it so bad and it seemed just out of reach.

Maybe you feel the same way.

Whatever business you’re in perhaps you’ve given it all you’ve got and the close of 2011 finds you tired and weary of deciding.

Perhaps you’re thinking that you can’t do something great after all.

Or maybe you decided, you took action and you have some good results but not the GREAT results you hoped for.

So now it’s my turn to say, ‘you just have to decide,’ but I’ll add on ‘once again.’

You see what I’ve learned after being in the home business living room and internet trenches for 9 years is that it usually doesn’t happen the way you think it will.

Sometimes you will be tested again and again.

I guess the universe wants to know how much you really want it and if you’re unwilling to take no for an answer.

Some people are forces of nature and you’re left in the dust wondering how they moved so fast.

That’s the point when many give up.

They just can’t take what they see as the humiliation of not making it big quickly.

They allow ego to steal their success and it’s a sad thing to behold.

Don’t let that be you.

If you are not yet King or Queen of your niche then you need to decide (again) AND the chances are you need to seek out some better information.

Without that you’re relying on lady luck and when you chase lady luck she runs faster than you.

So wherever you are right now and however you’re feeling I just want you to know that things can change for you as fast as they changed for me when you stop waiting for others to give you permission to claim your niche.

You can do it your way.

If you don’t get the results you want tweak your way until your way works.

And don’t listen to all those people who tell you it won’t work.

Remember that they are doing it their way because that works for them.

And their way won’t always work for you.

So there you have it.

It’s pretty simple when you decide AND you back your decision up with some better information.

For me, immersing myself in the psychology of marketing was the missing link.

Merge marketing with mindset and you will become unstoppable in any business.

As Jim Rohn said, ‘a man leaves his home with his wife’s kiss on his cheek & he’s invincible – who can touch him?’

That’s the way you’ll feel when your marketing and mindset merge and you say goodbye to lady luck forever.

That’s what I wish for you.
