So many gurus talk about this but so few people actually know how to make it happen.
On the other hand, once you get good at it you can become quite blasé, which is not so great really as you may take it for granted and get lazy.
It’s not a magic spell, so being amazing and having a magnetic presence is not enough to keep people calling you; you need to have your marketing systems in place.
So here are some tips of real things you can do to encourage your ideal clients and prospects to call you, so you can work less but charge more because you’re in high demand.
1) Set up your website so that it engages people. You will need value based content; useful and not a sales pitch.
2) Offer an ‘ethical bribe’ or free giveaway. This works well when your offer is a no brainer. If your ideal clients and prospects are visiting your website and not leaving you their contact details in exchange for your free ‘giveaway,’ you’re missing the mark. A great giveaway will make or break your list or database building.
3) Always be ethical and tell the truth. Hype and smoky mirrors do not last online. People can see right through it and won’t be coming back for more. Be real but inspiring.
4) Be consistent. Your ideal clients and prospects will begin to trust you when they hear from you regularly. Once a month will be too little, 3 times a day too much!
5) Publish an ezine or newsletter to stay in touch with your subscribers. The giveaway is a great start but as you may have heard, fortune is in the follow up.
If you implement these tips you’ll be well on your way to establishing an internet presence that encourages your ideal prospects and clients to call you.
Oh and biggest tip of all; if you want them to call make sure they can find your phone number! It’s surprising how many solo-entrepreneurs make it incredibility difficult for their ideal clients to find their contact details, and then they wonder why they’re getting no calls!
