The 4 Magic Keys to Building Your MLM business With Affiliate Marketing.

February 25th, 2010 rhenke Comments

So in the last blog posts we covered the basics of building the business.

Today we’re going to talk about how to build the business with affiliate marketing or funded proposals.

It’s not for everyone and that’s ok. Some people get completely distracted and overwhelmed with offering a range of products at their website or blog.

Others love to monetize the process of creating new contacts and building relationships through email and online marketing.

If you’re reading this article then the chances are that you are already using or are researching how to use affiliate marketing or a funded proposal combined with online network marketing.

If this all sounds a bit confusing then go back and read my basic posts here first: 7 Secrets of Launching MLM

So let’s say you’re fine and dandy with your warm market contact list. You’re working through it and have had a few new enrolees and customers. You’re following the training that your upline is providing and you’re EXCITED.

Then you start to look on the internet and see if there is a way for you to do some business building online. You start to opt into various marketers lists and before you know it you are MORE CONFUSED than a bee in a flower shop.

frustrated pc user

You’re hearing from Mike Dillard about the magic of Magnetic Sponsoring, Ann Sieg is emailing you about the Renegade Network Marketer (and telling you that you’re upline is basically useless) and Mike Klingler is talking about getting the technical skills you need from Renegade University or Renegade Professional!

You’re getting more and more excited about ALL THIS MONEY you are going to make but in the back of your mind you’re beginning to wonder if this was such a good idea after all! How the heck are you ever going to promote all these different things that for online affiliate marketing seem to be the ABCs?

How on earth are you ever going to find time or the focus to enrol someone in your Network Marketing business with all these other things to promote?

How are you ever going to understand all this?

How will you work with your upline in your MLM if they don’t understand this?

These are the kind of questions that I receive in my inbox and on my blackberry very often! People are so confused. The most confused of all is the new network marketer who has just ordered his pack and instead of making his candidate list and learning the basics of inviting, with his upline has instead jumped straight into Attraction Marketing with Affiliate Marketing.

I really feel for these guys. They are really up against it unless they learn the basics with a good mentor.

STOP! Let’s cover the 4 Magic Keys to building your MLM business using affiliate marketing without losing your mind, your hair and possibly even your spouse before you enrol your first team member!!

Key 1

Keep your mind on your MLM end game. Do you know what your end game is? Unless you want it to be ironically but tragically similar to the famous Samuel Beckett one-act play with just four characters, you had better get clear on it BEFORE you start building your list and trying to attract prospects to you using affiliate marketing.

Here are some questions to get you going:

Am I 100% committed to building my Network Marketing business with XYZ Company?

If yes – what are my monthly volume quotas to receive my royalty cheque?

Do I need a large customer base to qualify or can I focus mainly on recruiting?

How many hours per week have I got available to do the core fundamentals of building and maintaining my business?

Depending on which company you’re with and how you are building your business this may include things like:

Providing orientation training for new team members

Coaching and assisting them with 3 way calls and working their candidate list

Attending/Running Local Business Builder Meetings or online webinars

Attending local networking events

Following up with your prospects

Enrolling them

Plus lots more!

It’s quite a lot to do and if you only have 10-15 hours per week to work the business part-time like most people do you will need to get very clear on your daily method of operation.

If you spend your spare 2 hours trying to figure out how to install a wordpress blog you will be neglecting the very core activities that will build your cheque.

So Key 1 is to get very clear on what and how you are building your core MLM business.

If you want to use affiliate marketing as part of your overall strategy to bring prospects into your list then I recommend that you set up your OWN MARKETING FUNNEL or MLM ONLINE SYSTEM ASAP!

Don’t build someone else’s list. Build your own! Set up your marketing funnel so that your prospect becomes YOUR LEAD FIRST, not the lead of Mike Dillard, Mike Klingler or Ann Sieg. I love these guys but they have enough leads already, and plenty of money to show for their awesome efforts.

What about you? Ok so if you’re clear on wanting to use and recommend affiliate marketing products to learn how to be more effective with online marketing, and to monetize your list building whether the prospects join your MLM or NOT…

You need your own marketing funnel. You can either learn how to make one (which is very possible but takes some time and study) or you can plug into an existing one.

There are lots of Attraction Marketing Systems around on the internet. Many are completely over-hyped, over rated and will confuse the socks off you some more because you will be pitched every 3 minutes on the latest hot affiliate product.

No no no. Choose carefully because you need focus if you want to win your MLM END GAME. You also don’t want to introduce your team members to a system where they are being distracted every day by other opportunities right?

This is what happened to me when I first started to figure out how to use the internet to build my business. I was so excited BUT so distracted!

So I came up with a solution that would enable me to build my own list, generate commissions with affiliate marketing but retain my focus on building my long term residual and passive income.

You can use it too if you like. It works with any MLM – whichever one you choose. Go here for more details: MLM Online Funnel

Are Attraction Marketers Really Building MLM Downlines?

January 26th, 2010 rhenke Comments

Network Marketing fascinates me. If it didn’t I probably would have quit long, long ago. There is something about it that is simply addictive.. don’t you think?

What is it exactly? It’s hard to put your finger on.

It’s one of the toughest business models out there but still we cling to this concept of greatness through building a huge network.

Last week as you may recall from my ezine, Amateurs versus Professionals I attended a company convention and also had a special European leadership session with Randy Gage prior to the event which was by special invitation only. It got me thinking…

Randy is convinced that Attraction Marketing is devil’s spawn! This came as no surprise to me, as those of you who follow him know full well that he doesn’t mince words. With Randy it is his way or the highway.

That is actually what is so attractive about him. There is no room for doubt. He has complete conviction, the cheques and the success record to back up his philosophy. That is strong leadership that brings you back to the centre line.

During the leadership session he threw out a few acidic comments about Attraction Marketing and aimed them square at me. I shifted uncomfortably but looked him straight in the eyes. We laughed about it later as I know he wants only the best for me.

IMG_4069

I am well aware that I manifested all of this because I dreamed of working with Randy Gage and his systems years before he even got back into a Network Marketing company.

Still..anyone would think I created Attraction Marketing. I mean come on Randy.. I am not Michelle Dillard!

Randy thinks that Attraction Marketing is ‘bullshit’ and that lots of the online gurus are just mining the minors. (When you think that apparently there was more money made in the Gold Rush from the selling of shovels and levi jeans, than from the gold itself this is obviously a good business to be in!

Anyway it got me to thinking again as I so often do about this online and offline MLM puzzle or conundrum.

I have never said that online MLM is the only way to go because right from the get go I have been very aware of the advantages of building MLM with a traditional (but smart step-by-step) business plan.

Not ever doing fliers again though guys!

I’ve never begged my prospects to join or cried when they said no. (At least not in a long, long time) In previous posts I have written about much of the online nonsense that is going on as newbie network marketers try to figure out what to do, and spam our profiles.

Randy Gage and Eric Worre teach professional network marketing at its very best. Duplication and creating massive organizations that are built to last is their speciality.

Hence they have no time for the latest internet gimmicks and create an army of distributors who know exactly what to do.

Attraction Marketing and Internet Network Marketing on the other hand can get very complicated. By its very nature your people are all doing different things. This makes duplication very, very challenging. (If you didn’t read my story and why I created my own Attraction Marketing system yet, you can download my free Attraction Marketing e-book here)

I do love working online and bring in some great people this way. But you have to have a real business plan for them to get started fast with your company or team.

They then add in online marketing to the mix if they want to.

Going online straight away is awesome if you are experienced and already have a network circle to contact online. For some, especially younger people it is easy to get their heads around driving traffic to their web page. For others who barely know how to get their own domain name, it can be a very slow process.

Personally I advocate doing what you love and what makes sense for your personal circumstances. I for instance live in a very remote location and because of the internet have been able to enrol people from all over the world. Pretty exciting hey?

That being said I have some advanced internet skills and have created an excellent online marketing funnel that does a lot of the work for me.

If I lived in London I probably would do more local networking, so you see how it’s best to create your plan around your skill-set and your life as it is now. (That being said I have done so much local networking in my MLM career and I know the power of it)

I could go on. There’s so much here to elaborate on in another post but enough is enough. You guys are busy and short is better than long these days.

In closing I’m finding myself wondering how many of the Attraction Marketing gurus are really building an MLM downline?

I’ve always done the business with a mix of on and offline because the tools I have access to with my team are way too good to ignore for warm market.

There are many though who claim that they can do it all online. Network Marketing is about people and relationships so whilst I agree that A LOT can be done online with technology, I also know that meetings make money, cement relationships and build belief.

I see the transformation that happens to our team members when they attend events, especially major ones.

I do however LOVE online lead generation and for me it has always been about being able to teach people what to do to attract more prospects once they have been through their warm list.

In my experience most people are open to working their warm list if you give them realistic expectations and quality business tools to do it with.

Where it all falls down (I find) is when you have nothing else to teach them after that. It can be very challenging to meet enough NEW people to do another ‘major blast’ or create enough continued momentum and first line recruiting.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. It seems to me that the roles have been reversed.

The die-hard online network marketers (the Renegades and the Magnetics) who refuse to do any offline marketing have long accused MLM uplines such as Randy Gage and Dani Johnson, of doing one thing but teaching another.

Funded proposals and affiliate marketing are amazing and I have generated a lot of income with them but they do distract people from building their MLM cheque unless they have a systemized approach to it and really understand it.

In a strange irony it seems to me as though the shoe is now on the other foot. The MLM leaders who have built huge downlines with person to person and warm market lists are now calling out the online gurus as doing one thing and teaching another!

Are Attraction Marketers for the most part just selling online affiliate courses and losing sight of the MLM dream?

When you figure that the big players in Attraction Marketing such as Mike Dillard and Mike Klingler are no longer building the MLM model…

Ann Sieg is in MLM but has a huge business with affiliate marketing…

Jonathan Budd is a big player but again I don’t know how much of his earnings published on MLM authority sites are actually from his MLM.

Perhaps Randy Gage has a good point.

What do you think? Leave your comments on the blog. I know this is a heated subject for many so please show respect!

p.s Every name I have mentioned in this blog has been of tremendous value to me in building my business and I in no way which to discredit any of them. They all bring incredible leadership and training to Network Marketing with their own unique style.

Want to See Some Real Life Case Studies of Regular Networkers Building their Network Marketing Business Online with Attraction Marketing?

March 20th, 2009 rhenke Comments

The launch of the Internet Network Marketing training site Renegade Professional is heating up!

Here’s yet another juicy release of free information for network marketers wondering how to get their business successfully online.

When I say successfully online I don’t mean having a website. That hasn’t been enough to establish an effective web presence for years.

Pretty pages (especially replicated company ones) will get you nowhere fast. Those sites are good for directing people to but other than that won’t do a lot for you because they won’t be found.

I’m talking generating leads and front end commissions with your own online marketing funnel. This enables you to negate the cost of running your business and get quickly into positive cashflow.

This has been a pipe dream for most network marketers up until recently. Unless you had a real knack for getting your warm market involved, or extremely good recruitment skills from the get go it would usually take some time to get cash flow positive.

With this new style of Attraction Marketing online you can push through that barrier very quickly and show your new team members how to do the same.

What’s made all this possible for me and many others using these systems?

Well a couple of things really:

1) the development of web 2.0 at lightening speed

2) Funded proposals such as Magnetic Sponsoring and Renegade Marketer which enable you to market online to your target market and make money as you build your list and generate qualified leads. (Before you’ve even spoken to anyone about your opportunity)

3) ‘Click by click’ Internet Network Marketing Training with Renegade Professional Membership Training Site. (This has enabled us to duplicate the process with our team even when they have very little knowledge of the computer)

All these things sound great I know. Wouldn’t it be good to be able to see some real life case studies about regular people like you that have actually done this?

Mike Klingler and Ann Sieg of Renegade Professional have just released a new report with 10 Real Life Attraction Marketing Role Models. (not gurus!)

Grab your free report and prepare to be amazed. This report blows all the excuses and fears out of the water.

No technical skills = doesn’t matter.

No time=work at your own pace.

No money=shows you how to market your business online as close to free as you can get!

Once you’ve read the report make sure to download the Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto if you haven’t already so you know what the next steps are.

Renegade Professional internet network marketing school now has a waiting list of 30,000 people and won’t be able to accept everybody so it will be first come first served.

If you’d like to talk to a real person to see how all this works then call me on +44(0)7766 643984, email or Skype me at Rachelhenke and I’ll be happy to help.

Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto – Grab this free copy even if it’s the only thing you do today for your home business!

March 3rd, 2009 rhenke Comments

Thousands of internet network marketers have been waiting in anticipation for the launch of Ann Sieg’s latest report, The Attraction Marketing Manifesto, as I blogged about recently.

Last night I read all 75 pages of it (excuse the delay in my blogging to inform you but I literally could not stop reading long enough to blog!!)

I read it once and then I read it again. And you know what?

Yes you guessed it… I will read it yet again but already I am implementing some of her suggestions for taking your Network Marketing business online or to the next level.

Don’t miss out here by being short sighted…

As I have mentioned before I was anti Ann Sieg’s work for a long time because of the negative google adverts that surround her message. I nearly completely missed the avalanche of marketing nuggets here by refusing to scratch below the surface.

Fortunately I made a decision recently, after years of making money online, but not applying it with my downline because I didn’t know how, to take my Network Marketing business fully online and to help others who are in search of guidance to do just that.

In my research and quest to find a way to teach my team how to do the ‘geekie’ stuff needed to develop an Internet Attraction Marketing Business Model I discovered the wonderful Mike Klingler.

That was a great day! Since then I have been soaking up all there is to learn about this fascinating new way of building the business and have actually been able to apply lots of it due to Mike Klingler’s comprehensive Renegade Professional (more updates about this soon) resources and training site for Network Marketers and MLM Professionals.

I will be updating you with a complete review and action plan for implementing the many groundbreaking suggestions in the Attraction Marketers Manifesto but in the meantime you can read a little bit more about it here and download it instantly as a PDF and audio.
http://www.squidoo.com/AttractionMarketersManifestoReport

By the way I completely understand the hesitancy and confusion surrounding Ann Sieg’s work, coming from some of the established leaders in the industry. The original Renegade Marketer book certainly stirred up a lot of intense feeling for Network Marketers far and wide.

What I found was when you read the actual content that Ann produces, all the light bulbs are turned on, and you can see why in fact this is the place where the old road meets the new and that as with everything if you don’t jump on the train you’ll be left waving it goodbye. Embracing rather than resisting unavoidable change is a good thing.

With the Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto there is very little reference to anything about ‘what your upline doesn’t tell you.’ I’m thankful for this because I love and edify my upline as respected and successful leaders in the industry. (I have to write this as they are reading my blog.. ok just teasing!!)

All of what is happening today in this paradigm shift is able to happen as a result of the work these leaders have done to pave the way to this point and we should all be very grateful to them.

So how do we blend the two? Well the good news is that we can and we will. I’ll be writing more about this in my future postings so stay tuned and get subscribed in the top right hand corner so you stay ahead of the game.

Download and start reading the Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto today and you will understand why and how you can be placed at a unique place in Network Marketing history where the old meets the new and they can happily thrive together.

If you’re confused about how to transition into Internet Attraction Marketing, without upsetting, alienating or insulting your respected uplines, or confusing the socks of your downline, get in touch and I can help you to get on the shortest track here with a free introductory and completely generic marketing consultation.

‘The Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto’ – Position Yourself Before The Wave

February 17th, 2009 rhenke Comments

I just got the word that Ann Sieg is soon releasing a new free report that will be known as ‘The Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto’

‘Ok, so what Rachel?’ I hear you say! I’m telling you this so that you can get ahead of the game and understand exactly how big this wave of ‘Attraction Marketing’ is going to be.

If you’re still dilly dallying with the idea and wondering whether it could really work for you, whilst manically dashing around with that black holdall with the fat monitor in it, or the facial wonder machine in it and all your special skin crèmes.. then now is the time to stop, look and listen.

I am not being rude. I used to travel around the county of Suffolk with a black bag with my wonder products and gadgets stuffed in it so I know what I’m talking about and am qualified to have an opinion here.

If you signed up with your company to do that then it’s not a problem. You got what you came for. If however you signed up for a dream lifestyle and wanted to work from home using the internet, which is what I first signed up into MLM for 6 long years ago, then it is a problem isn’t it?

I mean how did I go from filling in an online form (which twinkled the words ‘Work from home’ invitingly at me as I whizzed off my details) to shlepping a bag of products around the county, checking women’s body fat, and listening to how much they ate for tea last night?

Well it is a sad and lengthy story which does have many amusing parts to it so I can share it with you another time but the point for now is that if you want to rescue yourself from that place…

You know the place where you want the big business model of recruiting + team building = residual income, but you’re stuck in the place of products + black bag = small business model, retail and no residual income… now don’t cry because there is a way out.

I found it so I can promise you that. So do I have your attention now?

That’s great because something very big and I mean HUGE is about to happen in Network Marketing as I mentioned at the beginning. It’s called ‘The Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto,’ and if you want to do big things online you’re going to need a copy.

Ann Sieg, who has completely rocked the industry with her infamous, 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing & her book, The Renegade Marketer, where she explains how to build your business model as a franchise around YOU Inc. is about to release another earth shattering report.

I have a sneak preview of the table of contents and I’m going to share it with you! The report is not due out for several weeks so you’ll need to come back to visit me here to get full access when it hits the blog stands but for now here’s how it is going to look. Go on take a peek:

Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto - Let Me Know When Available!

I can only imagine how big the rumbles will be through the industry when Ann Sieg releases it because the effect of her previous book from 2 years ago can still be felt now.

In fact as I mentioned in a previous post, I was so anti the first report because of what I mistakenly thought it stood for that I didn’t read it until about 6 months ago. And then I didn’t get the Renegade Marketer Book until last month.

Well talk about slow on the uptake! Anyhow let’s not have the same thing happen to you. This time you can be positioned and ready to take advantage.

If you want to really get ahead then jump onto Attraction Marketing Manifesto and get notified as soon as the free report is released.

Attraction Marketing – Pros and Cons of the New Business Model and is it Right For You?

February 4th, 2009 rhenke Comments

I’ve been playing around with attraction marketing for quite some time now and have been very excited by the possibilities it represents. However, for all the very smart concepts around it I’ve also seen a lot of confusion and misunderstanding around it, much of it in my own head!

Recently I decided to approach the new business model full on and to research, analyse and practice it so I can see how it really works, and tie up all the components. Why did I do this? Well several reasons really:

1) I love the idea of having an automated cash machine so that I am building other streams of income that don’t compete with my MLM but allow me to have a cash flow engine on the front of my residual income.

2) I think if we don’t move with the new technology and take advantage of Social Media (Web 2.0) we will be left crying on the sidewalk wondering what happened.

3) All Network Marketing leaders look for ways to help their group to be more productive and profitable and of course if we can make it easier then why not?

4) I have come to understand that if you want to be an effective marketer in any business you must learn to develop your own list of subscribers.

My background is in traditional Network Marketing and I have now been in the industry for 6 years, with 2 different companies. It has been an emotional and exciting journey and some parts of it have been better than others!

On the whole it has been an amazing journey of self discovery, personal development and I have come out the other end as an entrepreneur with a range of valuable skill sets which I don’t think I could have got in any other industry. (Certainly not in my previous roles as a fund administrator, banker and multi-tasking PA) I am thankful for that and to all the wonderful mentors and upline who have helped me to become the person that I am today.

All of that being said the only thing we can really be sure of is that things always change. Why should that then not be the case for Network Marketing? I joined a new emerging company which does things in a very different way to the first very ‘old school’ company which was a giant leap forward for me.

I learned about building culture and duplication in my organisation, and I learned how to leave the old school methods of buttons, flyers, parties and full on selling behind. Phew what a relief!

My new business model has a great training and support system in place that works without me, and also an easy autoship which completely scaled up the way we do business. Gone were the heavy monthly volume requirements along with the frontloading of tons of products for new members to ’sell.’

When I first discovered the ‘7 Great Lies of Network Marketing,’ I found it irritating and enlightening all at the same time. Much of the content rang true with me in relation to the way we did things in my first company.

What irritated me was the way the marketing around the book seemed to lump all companies (even modern ones like mine) into the same old pile of … well if you’re not doing everything online and you’re daring to share something you’re excited about with your friends and family you are old school.

I admit I did not like the message and I even blogged about it at the time. I think it is damaging to the industry to advertise negative messages about Network Marketing companies. I still think that but I also understand that without a little ’shock’ marketing nobody would bother reading it!

Many of the unscrupulous marketers have no clue what the company they are talking about is even doing… never mind how successful your individual sponsorship line may be. So what has changed? What caused me to reassess and actually buy Ann Sieg’s book despite some of the negative publicity around it?

Well I have been using Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring system for quite some time now and I have been very impressed by the products and affiliate programme he offers. I have also made some great commissions on autopilot which gets the vote in my book!

The problem I came up against and I imagine many others come up against is how to actually implement what he teaches into a full and comprehensible step by step business model.

If I was to automate the business and monetize my leads then I needed to find a way to take it to the next level. Enter Renegade University. I initially dismissed this opening door because I presumed that it was a part of Ann Sieg’s system and at that time I wasn’t open to research.

Oh what a mistake! I nearly missed out on what for me has been some of the most enlightening and detailed training about marketing online in one place that I have ever found. Mike Klingler is a gem of a trainer and he understands the need for step by step systems that enable your team members and business partners to go at their own pace.

Why did I go back to ’school?’ Well for the Network Marketer and Home Business entrepreneur school is never out. If it is then we’re in the wrong business!

I’ve found a resource which enables me to learn advanced skills in email marketing, how to generate better performing original web content, how to build my own marketing system, and at the same time enabling me to offer to my current and future team members a way to plug into a comprehensive training system designed for the beginner to learn how to apply the new model of attraction marketing.

All of that then leads into my primary business where appropriate. No begging and no drama. It is a sorting and sifting machine on steroids. I stopped begging a long time ago but I know that many feel that is the position they are in with some of the business models they follow.

This is absolute heaven and very good news for all those leaders who are wondering how to apply Web 2.0 to their business and even more challenging how to teach it to their team! Mike shows you how to implement what you learn and simultaneously produce the content so you are time efficient. It’s a very cool process.

The Renegade University and Renegade Professional is the place where you can plug in your affiliate links, including Magnetic Sponsoring and Ann Sieg aswell as other streams of income from services that people need to build their business anyway.

One can choose to study just Magnetic Sponsoring or just The Renegade Marketer as one wishes. Ann Sieg a bit in your face? No problem, just leave her out of your cash machine for now. It’s up to you as this is YOUR cash machine.

You may find as I did that when you get past the hype about her book, she actually has some very solid marketing ideas and compliments the new model very well.

If you like Mike Dillard but don’t know how to get it all in one place then here’s the
solution. Visit the Renegade University and check it out for yourself. Serious marketers need to go to the Professional Level asap. And if the trial offer for $1 is still available then grab it here by signing up and going to Step 3: Learn More About Attraction Marketing.
