I’m thrilled to announce the launch of HBRN, The Home Business Radio Network & my own show on the network.

The mission for HBRN is to provide 24/7 positive powered radio for home business entrepreneurs.

When Doug Firebaugh invited me to host my own show on the network I was very excited because I know this radio network will give many of us an incredible chance to reach people all around the world with our important message.

Home Business Radio Network is streaming out to 65 countries and there is an impressive line up of show hosts sharing training and tips for home business, network marketing and all types of home based enterprise.

I named my show ‘The Rachelhenke.com Show’ and will be sharing training on niche marketing, internet marketing, affiliate marketing, personal development and much more.

I’ll be interviewing experts in their niche and innovative entrepreneurs that have something unique to share with listeners.  I’ll also be doing book reviews and sharing tips and takeaways from the many books I read.

For a steady stream of positive powered training, great music and positive home business news (yes really!) tune into the Home Business Radio Network.

It’s not been an easy year in many ways.

The year started painfully after my father died suddenly during an emergency operation 8 days before Christmas.

He was in Spain and all of the UK airports were under heavy snow so I wasn’t able to attend his funeral; a very black day for my family.

But I’m grateful that despite dealing with all this emotional baggage I’ve been able to find the strength to keep moving forward fast.

Now I’m releasing that overwhelming sadness as 2011 slips away because he would want me to.

In 2011 I’ve experienced some amazing shifts and now truly believe that I can do anything I set my mind to and deeply desire to do.

2011 Highlights

The Niche Expert was published by a ‘real’ publisher and I attracted the contract effortlessly. Of course I had to write the book but even that flowed easily and once completed events just seemed to take on a life of their own.

I miraculously had a publisher almost as soon as it was completed.

Take heart ‘struggling’ authors, I probably paid my dues with 9 years of many no’s from prospects and multiple rejection letters for my short stories!

I completely realigned my niche to be perfectly in tune with my talents and who I am rather than pursuing a business that was more about how other people told me I should do things. 

I never was very good at being told what to do – perhaps you can relate to that?

This took A LOT of courage and overcoming of a ton of personal fears and ‘stuff’ that I’ve accumulated as an MLM warrior over the years.

I am still proud to be in the network marketing business but my intension for 2012 is to ‘do it’ on my terms and do it my way.

For some time I have no longer been living under the constraints of restraining my entrepreneurial spirit to fit in with other people’s duplicative systems which in my experience are as mythical as the glorious Narnia.

They work for those who create them because they are based on their skill sets and gifts, not yours.

This year I have discovered that when you find YOUR WAY of doing things you suddenly become much better equipped to help other people find THEIR WAY rather than trying to force people into a regimental system that just doesn’t play to most people’s strengths.

Watch this space in 2012 for developments on this front.

Meanwhile I’m inspiring and showing people how to create their niche expert businesses around their passions, skills and life purpose.

I’m finding that it’s perfectly possible to be a multi passionate entrepreneur but it does take discipline, focus and super organisational skills.

Needless to say I’m still working on mastering all of the above!

After a MOMENTOUS 90 day plan to close the year strong, I bless the Herbalife legends and my incredible sponsor, mentor and now best friend of many years Russell Cooper for first showing me the power of the 90 day plan.

If you ever wonder about whether it’s really worth going all out for 90 days I promise you it is.

Whenever I’ve achieved any big things in my business such as giving myself  a promotion in the marketing plan or activating flowing commissions into my inbox it’s always come on the back of one so go for it.

Another big opportunity I’ve been honoured to receive this year is a chance to work with the inspiring and incredible Home Business Mega Star, Doug Firebaugh.

I’m really excited about hosting my own ‘RachelHenke.com show’ in 2012 on the Home Business Radio Network, thanks to Doug.

Big opportunities to serve people in your ‘niche’ find you when you just give of yourself without worrying about how much you’re taking.

So in summary when you position yourself as an expert or whatever you want to call sharing your gifts and talents to help other people I’ve found that:

Clients find you and happily give you money to consult with you.

People of major influence joyfully endorse you because they feel SAFE to do so as they know you won’t let them down.

Thanks to Mike Klingler for endorsing The Niche Expert and for being the first to inspire me to explore my unique gifts for business and use the internet to deliver them in a more effective way.

Prior to studying Mike’s attraction marketing teachings I was very good at generating leads online but not thinking out of the box at all.  I was still chasing people without giving value and not even realising it.

Now let me see …who have I missed out?

Who else has touched my business life in a special way in 2011?

With special thanks to Diane Hochman for being a constant inspiration in wonderful rebellious action, Ali Brown for raising a peaceful but powerful global force of unstoppable women who will change the world and Marie Forleo for her divinely inspired Q&A Tuesdays.

I have been blessed to receive inspiration from all of these wonderful people in 2011 and encourage each of you reading this to find your own sources of inspiration in 2012.

This is one of my favourite sayings of all time and credit where credit is due it was Oscar Wilde who said it.

And you may be thinking, ‘so what Rachel?’

Who cares what Oscar said over 100 years ago? 

Fair enough and I understand why you might think that way.

But if you’re marketing (or trying to market) your business on the internet there is an EXTREMELY valuable ‘takeaway’ for you contained within this old saying and it’s nothing to do with Chinese food!

It’s about being unique so that you stand out.

Most wannabe marketers are trying to copy gurus.

Why? Because we’re told that we must duplicate the successful actions of others if we want to be successful in business.

So what’s wrong with that formula?

Absolutely nothing.

But what is wrong with copying the gurus is that you can lose yourself if you’re not careful.

That’s the point. If you try and copy the prosperity phenomenon Randy Gage you’ll find he’s completely unique and you just can’t be like him and of course your story can never be the same as his.

How about David Wood, the internet network marketing guru? Well I just watched a presentation of his and I’m not exaggerating when I say he BLEW ME AWAY.

He wears shorts and t-shirt on stage at major events and claims not to wear deodorant.

Now would I like David Wood’s cheque?

Yes of course I would. But if I have to be like him to get it will I do it?

No …  because even if I were prepared to go against my own nature I couldn’t do it anyway.

I’m much too fussy about my personal hygiene and can’t imagine life without my deodorant!

How about Diane Hochman? Well she must be one of the coolest internet marketers on the planet. And of course we’re getting closer because at least she’s a woman!

So how about copying her?

Deep sigh. As much as I admire her I can’t be like her.

Why? Because I am ME for better or for worse, my success and my story is unique to me so my message for you today is for goodness sake stop trying to copy everyone else and just focus on being yourself.  (Your best self of course!)

A very smart entrepreneur called Ali Brown said, ‘model, don’t copy.’

You can take the strategies or systems that appeal to you for your business model and you can make them work with your personality and your ‘you-ness’ shining through.

When people do enough of that instead of dithering about wondering who they should be copying and what methods they should be using, the commissions start flowing their way.

And when that happens it’s sweet because you’re making money doing what you love and giving more of YOU to the world.

I recently joined a Mastermind group called ‘The Million Mind March.’ Maybe you’ve heard whispers about Joe Schroeder and Diane Hochman?

They are a force to be reckoned with. They make your hair stand on end!

Joe is a legend in the home business industry and if what I’m reading is anything to go by he’s the grand-daddy of Attraction Marketing.

I’m enjoying listening to the Million Mind March Calls and became a member. So far so great! Diane Hochman is an ace, and an absolute delight to listen to.

I alternate between Tai Chi and Davina McCall work out DVDs, turn the volume down and listen to Joe Schroeder, Diane Hochman, Ali Brown, Randy Gage, Eric Worre or whoever else I’m studying.

That’s how I make time. (Big Tip: For those of you who think you have no time)

The calls and materials at the Million Mind March are all about YOU! How we all love to hear about us… That’s probably why I’m enjoying it so much.

Anyway – back to Attraction Marketing. I’m fascinated with it (you may have noticed!) so I’ve been studying some of the ‘ancient’ manuals from back in the day when Joe Schroeder inspired Mike Dillard to become ’10 Foot Tall and Bullet Proof.’

Word has it that Mike’s Magnetic Sponsoring was inspired by Joe’s work and in a recent interview with Mike Dillard and Jerry Chen, Mike mentioned how he took Joe’s principles just as the timing was red hot and applied them to the internet. Magnetic Sponsoring was born.

Interesting stuff I can tell you. Have a listen to the Mike Dillard and Jerry Chen interview if you didn’t get round to it yet. Yes, yes, yes, be a good student.

I get so many questions about what I’m doing and how I keep up on all this Attraction Marketing stuff so I thought it would be cool to share this Million Mind March Mastermind with you in case you’re in the right place for some new brain food.
