Network Marketing In the News – The Herd Validates the Network Marketing Business Model in This Soft Economy

It's great to see you again! Please take a moment to sign up for my 'MLM Rockstars Weekly Ezine' to get all my best stuff to your inbox.

It is so exciting to watch these predictions unfold before our very eyes.

As someone who’s been in the industry for a number of years and had to listen to a lot of regurgitated garbage about the pre-conceived and often ridiculous notions of how the Network Marketing business model operates, I was thrilled to listen to this news clip from a US major news network.

Yes you’ve got it, now not only are prominent figures like Bill Clinton speaking up for the Network Marketing business model, but the media are promoting it for us too!

If I didn’t know I am fully awake I would pinch myself! The biggest drawback for so many great prospects has always been their terrible fear of being judged and ridiculed for working outside of the traditional business model.

So many good people have missed their opportunity to become wealthy because they are more fearful of what others think of them, than they are focussed on their own success and future.

The ‘herd’ have their validation now and many more traditional professionals will start to come into the industry now they are going to hear more and more reports of this kind.

This has been predicted by industry legends such as Randy Gage, Eric Worre and Art Jonak.

They predict that we are now entering the golden years of Network Marketing and we are therefore with their leadership, creating a revolution to clean up the industry so we can all prosper in this lucrative time.

Listen to this little 2 minute NBC clip here and get excited all over again about where you are positioned now before the giant wave of momentum hits us.

What did you think? The thing I liked best was the reporter advising our millions of prospects how to evaluate an opportunity with the DSA etc.

Okay so it was focussed on Direct Selling small business model of ’selling’ but it’s a great start. Imagine how excited millions of professionals will be when they realise that there is a way to build their fortune without going door to door selling skincare!

These are amazing times. Are you ready to take advantage? If not then I would ask you, why not?

Are You A Selfish Marketer?

No one likes to think of themselves as selfish, and the word conjures up nasty feelings doesn’t it? On the other hand I have learned from my prosperity studies with Randy Gage that there is a time when being ’selfish’ can be a good thing, and is highly recommended.

It might be a good thing all the time… but then we would interpret a different meaning from the word selfish. Ok enough of that and on to the marketing!

In the real world most people don’t want to be thought of as selfish, so I got to wondering why there are so many selfish marketers working on the internet today.

There seem to be many good people that are behaving like selfish marketers so I can only guess that they just don’t know any different. As with most things in life it’s about learning and growing.

I’ve posted a lot about the need for Network Marketing leaders to teach their teams not to post spammy messages online, but this goes even further into the issue.

Social Media and Social Marketing require one to be sociable. Well there’s a shocker you may say!

The thing is if we start to ask ourselves what is sociable and giving about posting and whizzing opportunity links and offers at everyone that comes in our web 2.0 path I think most would clearly see that the answer would be, very little.

So why do so many do it? Yes I know they have ‘the gift’ and have a duty to spread the word but when so many of us have the gift it can start to be a little irritating lol.

Mike Klingler says that marketers are not normal. Well let’s face it he’s right on the money with that observation! However he goes on to explain that our challenge in Web 2.0 and Social Media Networks is to try to behave normally.

And yes that may not seem like the fastest route to get prospects and people looking at what you have to offer (i.e.; your wonderful gifts) but in this case I have to say that slow and steady wins the race here.

Building a network online is like building a network offline. It requires patience and interaction. Yes many parts of the business can be automated but to be effective in a social network is like being at a party.

You can’t thrust your business on the party goers and expect them to be in the mood to listen. There is a time and place for everything.

The absolutely super and wonderful thing about this whole new model of attraction marketing is that the more relaxed you are and the less you say the more people want to hear from you!

I know that sounds strange but its true so let me back up and explain. Attraction Marketing revolves around the basic principles of attraction. The best analogy is the classic dating one.

We’ve all done it after all… the more we chase the less appealing we are. The more mystery and posture we have surrounding us, the more we are pursued.

Being an attraction marketer is very similar, and as I’ve mentioned in previous post those who are trying to implement the new model but are still chasing everything that moves are missing the mark.

Let’s teach our team members and business partners to give value and build relationships first so that they begin to attract their target market towards their ‘gift’ and don’t need to graffiti the walls!

This is all part of the new movement of the Network Marketing Revolution whereby we will come together to showcase this industry to the world as the fabulous one it truly can be when done with elegance.

MLM Manifesto, by Randy Gage – Join the Revolution!

Well it’s been an exciting start to 2009 and I’m really fired up. There is so much good energy buzzing around the people I’m connected with that I am grateful to be associated with so many inspiring leaders in the industry.

There is a lot of talk about Network Marketing entering the golden era because of the economic climate which is forcing so many people from other industries to take a fresh look at ours. With that in mind MLM Rockstar, Randy Gage, has released an MLM manifesto which is a straight talking document about where we are today in the industry, and where we are not!

The aim of the document is to bring together other leaders in the industry, in all the true network marketing companies, to encourage a dialogue to improve Network Marketing as a whole. It’s a long overdue cause because MLM has so much to offer to so many people but often those very people miss their opportunity because they are not introduced to the information in a professional way, and as a result they get totally the wrong end of the stick!

Add to that all the nonsense on the internet written by people who are just trying to get people into their own business with no regard for the industry as a whole, and we have an interesting mix of leaders with integrity who are working for the greater good, and get rich quick artists who are giving us all a bad name. We want to change this, and set the industry alight with success.

Grab your copy of Randy Gage’s MLM Manifesto and how we are working to improve the industry and start a revolution.

This is essentially for people who are already involved in the industry, but is a good read for those evaluating the big picture of what Network Marketing can offer them today. Make sure your leaders get this information. It is free, completely generic, and tells it like it is.
