Ok so if you followed Step 1 you hopefully have your MLM marketing funnel in place OR are in the process of creating one for your team or plugging into your upline leader’s system.
Let’s talk about how to do the most important thing of all which is to stay alive in this business. You must have a flow of prospects. There is a ton of stuff you can do offline to attract prospects to your online MLM funnel but today we’re focussing on driving traffic online.
Step 2
First of all I’d like to say that this is neither a mystical or magical process! If you have an effective funnel (with something of great value to offer) in place and you drive enough prospects to it SOME WILL sign up for more information.
It is scientific actually. That’s what I love about online marketing. So what are your options for marketing your MLM online funnel or blog?
Online Marketing Options
No to Low budget options:
Social media
Facebook
Twitter
Digg.com and other bookmarking sites
Squidoo (less effective for MLM these days)
Hub Pages
Articles (such as ezinearticles.com )
Google Blogger
Video marketing (free if you already have a camera!)
Traffic Exchanges
Other social networks
Advertising
Free Ads such as Craigslist
Press Releases
Medium to High Budget:
Video Marketing (need good camera – I recommend FLIP)
Wordpress self hosted blog. (very cost effective)
Ezine adverts
Banner adverts
Paid social networks
Paid press releases
Lead Lists
Buying traffic
Google Pay per Click
Yahoo Pay per Click
Facebook Pay per Click
Synnd (content syndication of your blog or website)
(Synnd is like dynamite for your wordpress blog or website)
Outsourcing some of these methods so you are free to build the business
Consider these things as you put your Network Marketing Plan together:
What is your passion?
Each one of these is a big world unto itself! You will need some training but the best thing is to figure out which methods you think suit you best i.e.; are you a writer or a talker? Do you ‘have a face for radio?’ or are you happiest on video in the limelight?
What is your budget?
Are you no budget, low budget or high budget? This needs to be consistent for at least 90 days so you can gain momentum and have time to generate cashflow with your MLM to get your money back. One month all out is not going to constitute a marketing plan!
What is your skill set?
This may overlap with your passion. We usually love to do what we are good at! Evaluate your skills and figure out what you need to improve and where you can make the most impact with what you already know.
I recommend you invest in your skills and knowledge so you can be more effective with some of these.
Next time we’ll move on to Step 3 of the blueprint: Enrolling your Prospects
