Mindset is equally important if not more so than learning the practical how-to stuff.
As you may have noticed I’m a practical lass but when I decided on the name of my ezine, ‘Marketing & Mindset’ just seemed right.
One without the other just doesn’t go anywhere.
Prosperity is the way and in my study of prosperity I’ve come to realise that it means embracing both health, wealth and all the beautiful things in life that make your heart sing with joy.
It’s about creating the riches as a measure of what you have become and about having the resources to make everything you touch more prosperous.
You might have expected me to be writing you today about my new book which has just been published in paperback, but no…
There will be plenty of time for that and as Wallace Wattles said,
“When you get out of the competitive mind you will understand that you never need to act hastily. No one else is going to beat you to the thing you want to do;
There is enough for all. If one space is taken, another and a better one will be opened for you a little father on; there is plenty of time.”
So today I’m introducing you to a marvellous and inspiring little book called ‘The Science of Getting Rich,’ by Wallace Wattles because that’s what I think you need from me right now.
I’ve written about it before here: All Roads Lead to Prosperity or Do They?
I’m writing about it again today because I’m revisiting it and am amazed at how I find new wisdom within its pages each time I do.
This time I’m reading the hard copy version which also contains, ‘The Science of Being Well,’ and ‘The Science of Being Great.’
But you can get an entirely free digital download and get started with the original classic which I believe was written by this wise little man in 1910.
‘There are no new truths,’ comes to mind!
I’m reading a chapter in the morning and a chapter before bed and one of my faves is, ‘Acting in the Certain Way,’ and here’s an excerpt:
“By thought you can cause the gold in the hearts of the mountains to be impelled toward you; but it will not mine itself, refine itself, coin itself into double eagles, and come rolling along the roads seeking its way into your pocket.”
So as I can imagine Randy Gage, the present day prosperity guru saying … this translates as ‘your Lamborghini isn’t going to drive itself up to your house whilst you watch The Secret!’
There are so many inspiring nuggets in this little book that it’s tricky to pick a few takeaways but here’s one more which is particularly relevant to being a Niche Expert and the ethos of my book:
“You will get rich most easily in point of effort, if you do that for which you are best fitted; but you will get rich most satisfactorily if you do that which you WANT to do.”
“And it is certain that you can do what you want to do; the desire to do it is proof that you have within you the power which can do it.”
Ok well that’s it for today. Grab your copy of the book here: Science of Getting Rich
You have the luxury of reading it online or you can load the pdf to your Kindle or Ipad so no excuses not to feed your mind!
And begin ‘acting in a certain way,’ and you may be surprised at the good fortune that seems to come your way out of nowhere.
Let me know what you think in the comments below and also any results you’ve had if you’ve already read the book or are a student of prosperity.
Share with us any other good prosperity books you’ve read and feel have helped you on your journey to becoming more prosperous.
