I don’t know about you but if I don’t make a conscious effort to MANAGE my time, it somehow manages me!
My morning or even entire day can just flash right past me as I discover new and amazing things online. Perhaps it’s the same for you?
There are new launches and new tools and endless new fantabulous things coming at us every day online.
If you are serious about building a long term passive income with MLM you will need to learn how to use your time effectively.
Working online provides brilliant tools but it can also be a tremendous distraction from the job at hand; exposing your business opportunity to new people every day.
So here are some tips to help keep you on track. You don’t want to look back in a few years and wonder what you’ve been doing online all this time, with no cheque to show for it!
Tips for using Social Media for MLM
1) Choose 1 or 2 social sites and focus on mastering them. Avoid jumping into more than that and not really learning how to use them to build your list and generate leads. I recommend starting with Facebook and Twitter as these are the easiest to use.
2) Use the tools available to you. I recommend tweetdeck.com for organising your Twitter and connecting it up with Facebook. (You can update both at same time)
Also use your phone to send updates when you’re away or out and about so your Twitter stays ALIVE. It takes only a matter of seconds to tweet!
Connect up your Twitter profile to your Blog or capture page so you can generate leads when people check you out as a result of your dynamic tweeting.
Use the 80/20 rule. 80% sharing value RELATED to MLM or personal development etc. but NOT pitching and 20% tweets that lead directly into your MLM funnel.
3) Use a customized marketing funnel that leads with a free giveaway such as a free report or video so that prospects exchange their info with you and join your list and become MLM leads.
4) Use auto-responders to follow up with your prospects AND call them using a script so you save time and know exactly what to say
5) Use a system; i.e.; you provide good content such as Blog posts, tweets, facebook networking, and generate MLM leads to your funnel.
Then they receive whatever the information is they signed up for.
You call them and ‘interview’ them.
If they are a good prospect introduce them to your business partner so they can edify you and the prospect can see you are part of a supportive and successful team.
Continue to build your list by marketing with social media every day.
6) Make a marketing schedule. You might do 30 minutes in the morning before work and a couple of hours in the evening. Write down what you are going to do BEFORE you start. Don’t allow yourself to go round and round without accomplishing real activities.
7) Take some time each day to go into Facebook and Twitter and reply and thank people who have retweeted your tweets and/or commented on your stuff.
