When The Uprising (Book 2 in the Twin Flames series) launched, as you can see in the image it ranked in the hot new release Amazon list along with Outlander Book 9, Go Tell the Bees I’m Gone, by Diana Gabaldon. I’m a big fan of the Outlander books and the TV show, and I see it as the gold standard of time travel romance.

Twin Flames was inspired by my love of the mystical, and I weaved the twin flame phenomenon into a time travel romance story set in the present day and Tudor timeline, which is my favourite historical period.

In The Uprising George and Cara venture into a third timeline called Victoriana and readers enjoy the fast pace of the steamy time travel romance and the interlinking adventures.

My goal wasn’t to copy Outlander (Twin Flames is set in York and London and is a completely different storyline) but Outlander readers tell me they love my twist on time travel romance.
